A Tribute to Riverdance, Irish Ballet Show Comes to St. Petersburg

A Tribute to Riverdance Irish ballet show will be staged in the Oktyabrsky concert hall in St. Petersburg on May 12 and 13. The troupe was founded in 1988 by Rosemary Kennedy who is still at its helm and choreographers Kevin and Lillian Massey who combined the hard step with Celtic national dance. The troupe comprises professional dancers previously from the Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flame, and other groups. A Tribute to Riverdance was a four times winner of the Innovation in Irish Dancing award. A Tribute to Riverdance ballet should not be confused with the Riverdance show which Russia has so far seen only in videotaped versions.
