An escaped bull caused panic at a hospital in southern England on Friday afternoon. After it was seen looking through the window of the renal dialysis unit, staff went out to steer the animal away from the outpatients’ area.
The prize bull, named Charlie, had escaped from a farm near Canterbury, Kent, southern England and wandered into the grounds of Canterbury Hospital around 15.30 on Friday.
After the animal was seen looking through the window of the renal dialysis unit, staff rushed out to form a human chain to steer the distressed animal away from the outpatients’ area.
The authorities were alerted and the farmer came to reclaim his animal before it could injure anybody.
