"Moscow - Capital of Russia" photo exhibition opens in Peru

The largest, from the Soviet era, photo exhibition "Moscow - the Capital of Russia" has opened in the Russian center of science and culture in Lima on Tuesday, RIA Novosti was told in the Russian embassy to Peru.

"It will show 130 photos, including the rare archive ones of the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods," the RIA Novosti's interlocutor pointed out.

Russian ambassador to Peru Anatoly Kuznetsov pointed out speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition that "multifaceted international ties of Russia, whose economy is rapidly developing now, are being realized in Moscow or via Moscow to a great extent." The opening ceremony was attended by a delegation of the Moscow government, representatives of the political and business elite of Peru, foreign diplomats, and active members of the Peruvian-Russian cultural ties association.
