Caffeine is New Project of Google

Search giant Google is now looking forward to tweak its web search via next-generation architecture. This new project is codenamed Caffeine and resides under the hood of Google s search engine. Project Caffeine isn t something that Google will launch overnight, but it will be a step-wise update for the search engine s infrastructure. Well, Google isn t taking any cues from the recent Microsoft-Yahoo deal on the Bing search engine, Techtree.com reports.

Meanwhile, a user posting on Google's blog under the name "sebastian" said the Caffeine test page provided 7,130 results on a particular query, compared to 803 results on the old page. "Results are not the same in first three pages but more relevant. GREAT JOB!" wrote "sebastian" , InformationWeek reports.

"Google have let Caffeine quietly slip out. It talked about vertical specific searches while quietly doubling the speed and starts introducing real-time results and news feeds," he said , BBC News reports.
