Yabloko leader glad to invite Gorbachyov to join democratic coalition

Leader of the Yabloko party Grigory Yavlinsky has nothing against the participation of Mikhail Gorbachyov, who is now the leader of the Social Democratic Party, in the democratic coalition. He voiced this opinion at a briefing in Moscow today. According to earlier reports, Yabloko started negotiations on forming a coalition with all democratic forces of the country that did not win a seat in parliament. "If Gorbachyov wants to take part in the coalition, we do not object; moreover, we are ready to let in all democratic forces willing to join the coalition", Yavlinsky specified. "Gorbachyov is a historic personality, who gave Russia freedom, but what use Russia made of that freedom is quite another matter that has nothing to do with Gorbachyov", the politician concluded.
