On Tuesday Kaliningrad /an administrative centre of the Russian exclave in the Baltic with the same name/ will host the opening of the forum, "Economic Russia-Poland Cooperation and Accession to the European Union".
At the forum experts from Russia and Poland will consider the state of investment and the role of the current economic cooperation between the Kaliningrad region and Poland.
According to Polish trade consul in Kaliningrad Andrzej Zbucki, Tuesday will also host the opening of Poland's largest national exhibition "POLEXPORT-KALININGRAD-2003". This time the exhibition will represent new technologies of goods and equipment production, while the forum will consider ways to increase investment in economic cooperation between Russian companies and Polish businessmen.
Businessmen from Belarus and Lithuania, as well as the Russian cities of Yaroslavl, Ryazan and Yekaterinburg have shown their interest in the exhibition. It is scheduled to run for three days, on May 20th-23rd.
