Gennadii Seleznev, chairman of the State Duma has the opinion that "neither rock-concerts, nor singing and dancing parties should be organized" in the Red Square, near the graves in front of the Kremlin wall. This opinion Mr. Seleznev expressed before journalists in response to the request to comment on the meeting of Victor Zorkaltsev, chairman of the committee on voluntary associations and religious organizations, with the relatives of those buried in front of the Kremlin wall in Moscow. The speaker of the State Duma said that the relatives of those buried near the Kremlin wall "beseech that nobody should disturb their memories, nor say that the Red Square be reconstructed". He said that the request of the relatives to the government of Moscow is clear: to ban rock-concerts near graves. "The relatives are always offended by such actions. Their feelings should be treated with respect," emphasized the chairman of State Duma.
