A leak of toxic gas at an industrial paint factory in Belgium on Friday injured 24 people.
The accident happened when a chlorine and sulfate gas cloud escaped at the Alro plant in Rotem, 110 kilometers (70 miles) east of Brussels near the Dutch border, at 3 p.m. (1300gmt), city spokesman Patrick Daumen said.
"None of those taken to hospital are in a life threatening situation," he said. The causes of the leak were unclear. All 135 workers were evacuated from the factory after the accident.
