Euro reaches new all-time high against US dollar
The 12-nation euro hit a new all-time high Friday breaking through the previous mark set the previous day as the U.S. dollar came under continued pressure.
In morning European trading, the euro bought US$1.4320, surpassing the mark of US$1.4310 set Thursday after the latest in a string of weak economic reports from Washington.
