By now, ten bodies have been recovered at the scene of the natural disaster in North Ossetia, 97 people are still missing. Russian Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu said this Tuesday at a working conference 5 km from the Gizel settlement where the ice stream stopped.
Participating in the conference were also President Alexander Dzasokhov of the North Ossetia-Alania republic and Chairman of its government Mikhail Shatalov.
According to Shoigu, over 500 rescuers are involved in the rescue and search operation. In his opinion, the manpower and the allocated funds are sufficient.
