American shareholders of Yukos stocks have filed another class action against the company.
Murray, Frank & Sailer, an American law firm representing the interests of American shareholders, have filed a class action suit against Yukos, the law firm's Web site said.
The class action was filed in the Southern District Court of New York. It is the fifth class action filed by shareholders in the United States. The plaintiffs claim that they sustained damages when Yukos concealed information about its tax debts.
Earlier, similar class actions were filed by Lerach Coughlin Stoia & Robbins, Schatz & Nobel, Scott + Scott and Schiffrin & Barroway. These firms represent the interests of American shareholders. Individuals who purchased Yukos shares from February 13 to October 25, 2003 may join the class action.
