Russian President Vladimir Putin has criticized the government for its inconsiderable attention paid to the question of military and technical cooperation. Speaking at a traditional meeting with the Cabinet today the head of state stressed that "there has been some decrease in control" in the sphere of military and technical cooperation from the side of the government, the presidential press service reported. Putin admitted that yesterday he discussed this question with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov and charged Deputy Prime Minister Boris Alyoshin with this problem. According to the President, control in the sphere of military and technical cooperation is a very sensitive and important issue and even "the slightest failures are not permissible here".
