Russia will make a profit of leather deficit in Europe

Russian State Duma responded to the statement of western companies, involved in production of leather clothes. Deputies made a request to the head of Russian government Mikhail Kasyanov to consider the question of possible limiting of leather export and increasing its custom duty. The question was raised by Agroindustrial depute group and was maintained by others. All 312 deputes supported the interpellation unanimously. It is stressed in the inquire that “introduction of measures to limit export of leather materials will promote both preserving of Russian leather and footwear industry and increasing of budget incomes”.
