Over 500 Chechens living in Moscow are ready to act as free-will hostages on the condition that the terrorists release all the people held in the theater, head of the Chechnya administration Ahmad Kadyrov told Interfax Thursday late.
He spent the whole day on Thursday in the Chechnyan representative office in Moscow and saw lots of people from the Chechnya diaspora in Moscow visit the office and offer their help in the hostage problem settlement.
As for any possible negotiations with the terrorists, Ahmad Kadyrov was categorical: “I have nothing to talk about with these people, and there is no need for me to go there.” According to some sources, the terrorists have stated that they will release 50 hostages in exchange for Ahmad Kadyrov. The head of the Chechnya administration commented upon the suggestion and said that 50 hostages would be too few; if they want to exchange the hostages for Kadyrov, they should release all the people. If the terrorists agree with this condition, he is ready to be a free-will hostage, and no pre-conditions will be made at that.
