Washington Sniper and His Accomplice Arrested

Sources from US law enforcement authorities inform that the Washington sniper who has been terrorizing America within the past three weeks has been arrested. As it turned out, there were two snipers. The criminal had been put on the wanted list in the evening, and the two criminals were caught the same night.

These are two black Americans, John Allen Muhammad, 42, a veteran of the Gulf War in 1991, and his stepson John Lee Malvo, 17. The men were caught asleep in their own car, a Chevrolet Caprice, near a motel in Frederick, the state of Maryland, 80 km from Washington. Currently, the criminals are being interrogated by police in Montgomery County, where their first crime was committed.

Police found a gun in the suspects’ car; the criminals had supposedly shot it 13 times, ten innocent people were killed, and three were wounded. Police also found a scope and a tripod.

The investigation reports that the criminals probably shot the victims even without leaving the car, as it has an opening in the trunk that allows people to lie hidden and shoot the victims. Experts unanimously agree that it was John Allen Muhammad who was the force of the criminal tandem. The motives of the criminals haven’t been determined. Psychologists suppose that John Allen Muhammad is non compos mentis, but find it difficult to explain why the stepson acted in the same way.
