The Armed Forces of Russia struck a missile and space industry facility in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
The attack involved aviation, drones, missile and artillery forces. In addition to the facility, Ukrainian drone production workshops and several ammunition depots were hit. Ukrainian military personnel and enemy equipment were hit in 148 areas within the zone of the special military operation.
Russian forces successfully took control of two more settlements—Veseloye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Lobkove in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to the Defense Ministry.
During the battle for Veseloye, Russia’s Vostok military grouping reportedly eliminated around 125 Ukrainian soldiers and destroyed four field artillery guns. Meanwhile, the Dnepr grouping advanced into the area of Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region and later took control of the village of Lobkove. Russian forces also continued clearing operations in Poniativka, Nikolskoye, and Yantarnoye in the Kherson region. Ukrainian losses in this sector were estimated at up to 60 personnel over the past day.
Ukrainian forces carried out four attacks on Russian energy infrastructure over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed.
"Ukraine's daily unilateral strikes on Russian energy infrastructure confirm the inability of the current Kyiv regime to adhere to any possible agreements for resolving the conflict in Ukraine," the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
Ukraine attacked the Svatovo gas distribution station in Luhansk. In another attack, the Ukrainian forces hit an energy facility in the Kursk region leaving more than 1,200 people without electricity. Ukraine's attacks led to power outages for over 10,000 consumers in Belgorod and Zaporizhzhia regions.
