   According to several online reports, Penelope Cruz, 35,  and her boyfriend, fellow Spanish actor Javier Bardem, 40, are engaged.

Penelope Cruz to Become Bardem's Wife

   The couple, who first met while filming "Jamon, Jamon" in 1992, before working together again in 2008's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," have kept a low profile during their two-year romance.

    Cruz's rep had no comment and Bardem's rep said, "I really don't know, but would not be able to say anything even if I did."

  However, Cruz has stated publicly that she has doubts about the institution of marriage, saing that she believes in family, love and children.

  This is the latest rumor about Cruz, the previous one being that she was expecting a baby with Bardem. However, Cruz has denied the rumors. "I start getting some presents from friends saying, 'Congratulations, you're pregnant.' And I say, 'No, I'm not, so return the presents,'" she said.
