A small plane crashed outside Kiev. All five people killed have been identified as Czech nationals.
The chartered plane crashed Sunday afternoon in dense fog, killing all five on board - two crew members and three passengers, the Emergency Situations Ministry said in a statement.
The turboprop-powered Beechcraft had been on a charter flight from the Czech city of Hradec Kralove to the Zhulyany airport in Kiev 's southwestern outskirts. It crashed in a field near a major highway and burst into flames.
The plane belonged to the Czech company MINIB Ltd., said Natalia Alyushina, a Transport Ministry spokeswoman.
