The USA has offered Russia proofs that Saudi-born terrorist Osama bin Laden is linked to the September terror attacks on New York and Washington, US ambassador to Russia Alexander Vershbow has told Russian reporters. The information was provided through diplomatic channels and at a Brussels meeting of Russian and NATO experts, said the ambassador. This means the USA regards as both Russia its close partner and an active member of the anti-terrorist coalition, said Vershbow.
