The Third International Automobile Exhibition AUTOPETRO 2002 has opened its doors in Hanoi on Wednesday.
Forty-six national and mixed companies from Vietnam, China, South Korea, India, Thailand, Singapore, Italy and Germany will be taking part in this exhibition. They will display various types of lorries, vehicles for construction purposes, cars and motorcycles, as well as engines, spare parts and samples of combustible materials and lubricants.
The products of the Russian automobile industry, of the KAMAZ and KRAZ plants, are presented at the exhibition by the Vietnamese trading firms. They display mainly heavy-load trucks for different purposes. The automobiles of the Belarussian MAZ plant are also displayed at the exhibition.
The exhibition, whose sponsors are some Vietnamese ministries, has been organised by the Vietnamese VINEXAD trading company, the Council of the Engineers of the Vietnamese Automobile Industry and the republic's biggest oil companies.
