Britons win 113 million pounds in the biggest ever Euromillions jackpot

An anonymous Briton is said to have won a whopping 113 million pounds on the biggest ever Euromillions jackpot, a media report said.

"This is fantastic news -- we're absolutely delighted to have such a massive UK win. We have plenty of champagne on ice and looking forward to welcoming the lucky ticketholder to the National Lottery millionaires' club," a spokesman for the lottery Camelot was quoted by the 'Daily Express' as saying, Times of India reports.

The winning ticket netted a total of 129,818,431 euros. The previous highest winner was a Spanish player who in May 2009 won 126,231,764 euros, AFP reports.

The instant fortune makes the ticket holder richer than Robbie Williams, who is worth 85 million pounds, but puts them behind the Beckhams, who have 145 million pounds.

The odds of landing the correct digits were 76.2million to one.

The winner or winners will now have to register their prize with the National Lottery, before deciding whether to go public with their identities, Oneindia reports.
