Russia's First Lady Lyudmila Putin and the wives of nineteen heads of state who are in St. Petersburg for the tercentenary celebrations have visited a special fashion show put on by Vyacheslav Zaitsev's Theatre of Fashion.
The show was held in the negotiations chamber of the Constantine Palace in Strelnya.
Lyudmila Putin said that she had been to a fashion show staged by the designer eighteen month ago. Vyacheslav Zaitsev's work then made a great impression on the First Lady. In her opinion, the designer's creations should be presented to the world. She also said that the city's tercentenary was a worthy occasion to organise the show.
Following the conclusion of the event, the designer gave the First Lady some perfume from his own collection, while the guests had their photographs taken with members of the Theatre of Fashion.
