Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow is ready to take the most active part in the fair resolution of the Kosovo issue.
Talking to the ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro at the ceremony of giving credentials in the Kremlin, the Russian president said Moscow is interested in "the soonest establishment and consolidation of this new state community." "We're ready to assist this process in every possible way," the head of state said. "Russia intends to take the most active part in the fair solution of this region's problems in future too, including the Kosovo issue." Speaking to the Croatian ambassador, Putin remarked that Russo-Croatian relations "have stable positive dynamics." "Croatia is our partner in the resolution of the whole number of problems of Southeast Asia," the Russian president said, adding that "intensive dialogue, promising prospects for the development of business and humanitarian cooperation make it possible for us to look into the future with optimism."
