Controversial anchorman diagnosed as having concussion

Anchorman Sergei Dorenko is currently being treated in one of Moscow hospitals. His defence lawyer contends Mr. Dorenko has been assaulted and criminal proceedings are to be started soon against the assailants. The journalists himself asserts he was traumatized in the Sunday incident as he, according to immediate reports, rode his motorcycle into a sailor. In the meantime, criminal proceedings gainst Mr. Dorenko have already been launched on charges of “inflicting deliberate harm,” so he may face up to 3 years in prison.
