RAO UES directors to consider holding's restructuring today

Today the board of directors of RAO UES will consider the question Аnmaking an agreement with the Russian Aluminum company aimed at attractingan investment loan to finance the construction of the Boguchanskhydroelectric power station, the mass media department of the energyholding told RosBusinessConsulting. The agenda of today's meeting alsoincludes issues concerning the implementation of main directions of RAO UESrestructuring, including questions on terms of activity of "guaranteed"suppliers, on dividing energy companies into electric mains, energygenerating and selling companies. Moreover, the board of directors willdiscuss questions of creating wholesale energy generating companies.A decree on creating ten wholesale energy generating companies in Russiahas not been signed by the Russian government yet. A project on creating awholesale energy generating company in Siberia envisages the merger of theNovosibirsk, Sayano-Shushensk and Zeysk hydroelectric power stations and ofthe Bureysk and Boguchansk hydroelectric power stations that are beingconstructed currently. .
