A federal troops' convoy consisting of two armored personnel carriers and three cars were approaching the village of Turty-Khutor, Chechnya's Nozhai-Yurt district at 14:30 Moscow time on Thursday when a radio-controlled landmine went off, wounding four servicemen, a source in the headquarters of the Joint Group of Forces stationed in the North Caucasus told RIA Novosti on Friday.
"Terrorists had planted the landmine on the roadside," the source said.
Law enforcers are investigating the incident and searching for the people who planted the bomb.
