A roadside bomb blew up a minibus in Pakistani tribal region near the Afghan border on Monday, killing one passenger and wounding seven others, security officials say.
The blast happened on a dirt road in Tata Khel, a village about 25 kilometers (15 miles) west of Miran Shah, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to media.
North Waziristan has been the scene of scores of military operations against al-Qaida linked militants and their local supporters in recent years, reports the AP.
