After a photo-finish, all of Russia's top sides drew one-one in the final day of the Championship, giving the title to Zenit Saint Petersburg, followed by four Moscow teams- CSKA, Dinamo, Spartak and Lokomotiv. Zenit celebrates the third title in the Russian Premier League (2007, 2010, 2011).
England Premier League
In the leading group, wins for all except for Liverpool, with a home draw against Swansea 0-0. Arsenal is now in the pack, on 19 points after a 3-0 defeat of West Bromwich Albion, Chelsea recovered from a bad run with a 1-0 away win at Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle is now third, unbeaten after 11 games, after a 2-1 home win against Everton. Tottenham continue their great run with a 3-1 win away at Fulham and both Manchester clubs got three points. United celebrated Sir Alex Ferguson's 25 years at Old Trafford with a win over Sunderland (1-0) and City went to London to take three points off QPR, winning 3-2.

Real Madrid consolidates top spot in Spain benefiting from draws among the other members of the pack. Barcelona could only come away from Athletic Bilbao with a point (2-2). Real Madrid thrashed Osasuna 7-1 in Madrid (hat-trick from Ronaldo). Valencia won the local derby at Levante (2-0) being the only other club in the top six to get three points, moving ahead of their arch-rivals into third place. Sevilla drew 0-0 at Mallorca, the same result as the game between Betis and Malaga.

Top spot is claimed by Udinese (2-1 win at home against Siena), followed by Lazio (1-0 at home to Parma), AC Milan (4-0 against Catania in Milan), all taking advantage of the postponed match between Napoli and Juventus.

Bayern took the points away from Augsburg with a 2-1 victory for the visitors, Dortmund thrashed Wolfsburg 5-1, Bremen got the three points with a 3-2 home victory over Koln and Borussia Moenchengladbach won away at Hertha in Berlin 2-1. Stuttgart went down 3-1 at Mainz and Hannover drew 0-0 with Schalke.
