Kerry urges Bush to admit the Iraq mistake

"The president of the United States needs to tell the truth," Kerry told supporters gathered for a town hall meeting at Tipton High School.

L. Paul Bremer, the former civilian head of the U.S. occupation in Iraq, told a conference of insurance executives Monday in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., that the United States had not committed enough troops to Iraq, informs Indianapolis Star.

According to The Boston Globe, Rumsfeld, speaking Monday to the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, challenged one of the administration's justifications for the war when he was asked whether there was a connection between the deposed Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein, and the Al Qaeda terrorist network linked to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
