French show interest in tourism development in Urals

The Franco-Russian tourist forum was held in Yekaterinburg yesterday. The Sverdlovsk Region press service told Rosbalt that the initiator of the forum was the National Tourist House of France.

The event featured a presentation by French tourist companies. Representatives of Ural and French travel companies and airline companies held talks for the development of business cooperation. Sverdlovsk Region Deputy Minister for Economic Ties Boris Shipitsyn and National Tourist House of France Director Christian Valgenvits addressed a press conference afterwards.

One year ago the first regular flight was established on Urals Airlines from Yekaterinburg to Paris. According to the opinion of an employee for tourist company Jazz-Travel, French interest in Yekaterinburg increased with the growing numbers of tourists to France from the Urals.
