The Russian Federation's Foreign Minister, Igor Ivanov, negotiated with Foreign Minister Muratbek Imanaliyev of Kirghizia today, suggesting that a bilateral document dealing with cooperation between various Russian and Kirghiz ministries and departments be signed. According to Ivanov, a similar previous document has to be modified. This was disclosed by Ivanov himself today, as he opened negotiations with Imanaliyev. On the whole, Ivanov is satisfied with the current state of bilateral relations. Ivanov reminded that President Vladimir Putin had been invited to visit Bishkek. The President accepted that invitation with gratitude, Ivanov added. In his words, the relevant timeframe of Putin's visits is now being coordinated. Apart from that, the deadlines of the Kirghiz Prime Minister's Moscow visit have already been coordinated, Ivanov added. The sides will also be expected to discuss trade-and-economic issues, for the most part, during the Prime Minister's talks in Moscow, Ivanov said in conclusion.
