Lithuania Supports Steps Taken By Usa Against International Terrorism

Lithuania univocally supports the steps taken by the USA against international terrorism, declared on Monday Lithuanian Foreign Minister Antanas Valenis on national radio in connection with the USA's launching of the military operation in Afghanistan. "The entire civilized world realizes the threat posed by terrorism, and that is why this is a problem not only for the USA and other NATO countries, but also for all of Europe, including Russia," noted the head of the Lithuanian foreign policy department. Antanas Valenis said that Lithuania is ready to render support to the countries that are fighting against international terrorism in the form of humanitarian aid and through diplomatic efforts.
