Sweden Introduces Economic Sanctions against Ukraine

Stockholm yesterday officially announced that it is to introduce economic sanctions against Ukraine. This was confirmed to Rosbalt's correspondent at the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine. The Swedish government has taken this step on the recommendation of the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF).

Swedish officials said that from now on Stockholm would carefully track all large-scale financial operations undertaken by Ukraine. Economic sanctions against Ukraine have already been introduced by the US, Great Britain, Canada, Germany and Finland.
