Greek prisons: Attacks on human rights

Greece, the European Union. One in three prisoners has not been tried. There is a shortage of doctors in prisons. The rate of overcrowding in prisons exceeds that of Turkey, at 142 percent, or 13,000 people for 7,500 seats. Temporary custody is double the EU average. Almost half the prison population are drug addicts.
