Four injured in accident during warmup for Portuguese Rally
Four people were injured Thursday when a car went off the track during a warmup race for the Portuguese Rally.
Armindo Araujo lost control of his Mitsubishi Lancer and hit onlookers, three of them professional photographers, SIC TV said.
One person had a broken leg and another a broken arm, while two others had mild concussions, Faro hospital paramedic Isabel Costa told SIC. TSF radio reported that the man with a broken leg was a photographer.
The Portuguese Rally starts Friday and ends Sunday.
