The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has permitted Russian Paralympic athletes to participate in competitions under their national flag and anthem, according to a statement published on the federation's official website.
In addition, the ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) clarified that Russian athletes and supporting personnel who meet the criteria for individual neutral athletes (AIN) are allowed to compete in all FIS events, not only in qualification competitions for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.
"Russian Paralympians meeting AIN criteria can now take part in all FIS competitions under their national symbols,” the CAS decision confirmed.
