The First Lady of Jazz, American Diane Schuur, will appear in a one-off concert in Moscow tonight at the Grand Hall of the Conservatory. The celebrated pianist and singer has toured the world with great success and recorded with the most celebrated musicians. She has won two Grammy awards and been nominated on many occasions. When Schuur sings it is difficult to believe that this enchanting performer with her wide smile is completely blind. Frank Sinatra once told her "if only I could, I would give you my eyes." Schuur will play works by the most famous jazz composers, such as Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Count Bassy and other classics.
