Debut of Russia-Belarussian Boxing National Team

It is for the first time that a national team of the Union State of Russia and Belarus has made its appearance at an international tournament, that is a junior boxing competition which was over in Vitebsk, Belorussia, last Sunday. The boxing ring saw 163 boxers from major cities of Belorussia and Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine and Moldavia.

The national team of the Union state carried out joint training sessions in Russia last January, which has told on the results - all the winners, except two boxers from Lithuania, are Russian and Belarussian sportsmen.
