The other day the University of Bonn got a very unusual parcel. Some man who wrote his name on the parcel as “A.Sinner” sent three books to the University. As it turned out later, the books were borrowed from the library of the University’s department of law in 1966. And only now, in 37 years, some careless student decided to return the books to the alma mater.
To tell the truth, the University already didn’t hope to get the books back at all. Librarians had to write off one of them, what is more, they failed to find the rest two books in the library catalogue. The exact name of the careless student is unknown, but the name written on the parcel (A.Sinner) reveals that the man admits his guilt.
