The debut trailer for Predator: Badlands, the seventh film in the legendary science fiction franchise, has officially premiered on YouTube.
Plot Summary
The story centers on Dek, a Predator who has been exiled from his clan. Determined to prove himself, he ventures to the perilous world of Kalisq, a deadly and remote planet. There, he hopes to regain his father’s respect and earn his place back among his people.
Along the way, Dek encounters a mysterious woman named Tia. The two form an unlikely alliance as they set out to confront the most fearsome enemy the universe has ever known.
The film stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Kolomotangi in leading roles. It is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for his work on 10 Cloverfield Lane and the previous entry in the franchise, Prey.
The global premiere of Predator: Badlands is scheduled for November 7.

Predator is an American science fiction action anthology media franchise primarily centered on encounters between humans and a fictional species of extraterrestrial trophy hunters known as the Predators. Produced and distributed by 20th Century Studios, the series was initially conceived by screenwriters Jim and John Thomas. The series began with the film Predator (1987), directed by John McTiernan, and was followed by several sequels—Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010), The Predator (2018), Prey (2022), Predator: Killer of Killers (2025), and Predator: Badlands (2025)—as well as a range of expanded universe media, including comic books, novels, and video games, including Predator: Concrete Jungle (2005) and Predator: Hunting Grounds (2020).
