Mysterious India in Moscow festival will be one of the brightest cultural events of summer-2003. It will take place on August 29 in the Hermitage Garden. The Jawaharlal Nehru cultural centre attached to the Indian Embassy in Moscow, the Moscow House of Artists and the Ethnic Art gallery are the main sponsors of the festival.
The organisers promise the forthcoming festival will be "bright and lively". In addition to performances, all the visitors will be able to meet musicians, actors, Veda astrologers and yogis in Indian marquees.
Guests of the Hermitage Garden will see ancient karma purification rituals, Indian martial arts, fakir performances and classical Indian temple dances. The festival will close with special ethnic disco dances. A fair of Indian souvenirs will be open during the festival.
