Russian share prices stepped down 2 percent on average on the MICEX exchange at 13:00 Moscow time amid information about delaying the accomplishment of the deal on YUKOS merging with Sibneft. However, later purchases of liquid securities restarted. RAO UES eased back 0.5 percent, LUKoil lost 2 percent, Rostelecom decreased by 1.58 percent, YUKOS fell by 6.7 percent, Surgutneftegas went down 1.33 percent and Mosenergo was down 0.99 percent. Among other losers were Sberbank (-1.68 percent), Norilsk Nickel (-0.77 percent), Tatneft (-1.17 percent) and Sibneft (-4.17 percent).
