Today, the Russian Academy of Sciences and Norilsk Nickel will sign a general agreement on cooperation in the field of the hydrogen electrical energy industry and fuel elements, the press service of the company reported. The major goal of cooperation is to develop, sponsor and implement top-priority high-tech projects, to create competitive import-substituting equipment and materials for the hydrogen electrical energy industry and fuel elements.
Among the top-priority lines of activities to be followed under the agreement is the development of key elements of the infrastructure for the hydrogen electrical energy industry, high-tech products and promising technological processes based on using palladium and platinum-group metals, and perspective high-performance technological processes of production, concentration and processing of multicomponent complex ores at the company's facilities.
