Moscow region day at MAKS-2003

The international airshow MAKS-2003 is going on in Zhukovski near Moscow. The Moscow Region Day is marked here today.

The regional authorities will hold a presentation of aerospace factories located in the region. There will also be a press conference with the participation of their managers. The Moscow Region Day will be completed by demonstration flights, in which Italian and French pilots together with Russian will participate, fireworks shall follow.

Sixty-nine out of the 550 aerospace firms participating in the air-show are situated in the Moscow region. Among them is the Khrunichev centre, developing and building space equipment, the well-known Kamov and Mig design offices.

True, organisers of the air-show presume that the demonstration flights will not be held due to today's non-flying weather in Zhukovski - low-sky and fog.
