According to the information of some Moscow travel agencies, this summer Muscovites prefer to go to Turkey and Egypt on holidays.
"Tours to all Turkish and Egyptian resorts till mid-September have been sold out," a representative of a tourist agency said. It is almost impossible to buy blast-minute deals though a week vacation in a three-star hotel in Turkey costs some 400 US dollars.
This year Europe has seen nothing of Russian tourists because of the unusual heat, which hit the European continent. Travel agencies hope that the situation will change in autumn and in the "velvet" season Muscovites will go to Europe.
In this situation, it's almost impossible to go to the Russian Black Sea coasts. Tours to Sochi, Gelendzhik and Anapa have been sold out till the end of September.
