Construction work on a theme park similar to Disneyland will get under way in the Mnevnik region of Moscow in 2005. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed yesterday by the press office of the Moscow administration, the park will cost around USD 6 billion to build.
The Moscow administration is currently negotiating with foreign investors. The main investor should be named before the end of the year.
The unique park will take at least 10 years to build. It will occupy 320 hectares of land and will be open every day of the year, with most of the attractions located indoors. Visitors to the Russian Disneyland will not have to pay for every ride separately as an entrance ticket to the park will provide access to an unlimited number of rides.
