Vladimir Putin believes it quite normal that major companies influence the country's political life. The Russian President expressed this opinion at a press conference in Moscow in response to a request to comment on the recently published report on the national strategy saying that major business representatives intended to integrate into the government.
"However, we must not allow separate business representatives to influence the country's political life in private interests," the Russian Head of State said. According to him, such democratic institutions as the parliament, court and mass media are the ones to control the situation.
Putin also pointed out that equidistance of business representatives from the governmental bodies had been observed.
According to the President, major companies, that operate observing the current legislation, do it for the benefit of the country by improving its economy, creating job-vacancies and developing new technologies. According to Putin, most often it is major companies that give an example of good management and high-quality administration.
"There must be an optimal decision in the government-business dialogue," the Russian Head of State believes.
