More than thirty enterprises of the Smolensk Region (in the west of Russia) participated in the exhibition-presentation held in Warsaw. They exposed linen and cotton articles, products of the forest industry complex, diamond instruments, brilliants and jewellery, furniture, and spares for trucks and buses. The enterprises of the Smolensk agro-industrial complex displayed a wide range of macaroni foods, bakery products, confectionery, meat and dairy products, vice-governor of the Region Alexander Logutov said. He headed the region's delegation at the presentation. The Polish side showed interest in the exhibition - more than 50 representatives of Poland's central power and 200 Polish firms took part in its work.
