Another act of terrorism was committed in Chechnya today. The building of the Shali inter-district court was blasted in Chechnya in the morning. The bomb went off at about 4.00 a.m., Moscow time. Nobody was hurt. The blast inflicted a lot of damage on the two-storey building, head of the Justice Ministry's Chechen department Bek Baskhanov said. Dividing walls collapsed and overhead covers cracked. Doors splintered. Window frames in the court building were ruined, and windowpanes in houses nearby were broken, Inrefax reports. There is information that the police patrol left the post at night, and the bomb was planted inside the building, Baskhanov said. The patrol, which was expected to be on round-the-clock duty in the court building, is now being questioned.
