ISRAEL STRIKES PALESTINE HEAVIEST BLOW. THOUSANDS OF GAZA STRIP CITIZENS ATTACK ISRAELI CHECKPOINTS IN THE MORNING

In the evening, Israeli helicopter gunships fired dozens of rockets at Palestinian cities. Later, vessels in the Mediterranean Sea got involved. It was one of the heaviest air strikes. According to foreign news agencies, rockets were hitting the Palestinian territory every minute. Power supply was cut off, radio and television broke down. The attack lasted for two hours. According to preliminary data, over 100 Palestinians were wounded, and one Gaza resident was killed. Today in the morning, Palestinian leadership called Israel’s behaviour an unveiled aggression and urged the world community to interfere. The Palestinians say the night strikes will cost dearly to the Israelis. Fresh clashes erupted in Gaza Strip today in the morning. The upsurge has spread to Ramallah and Hebron. Thousands of people are reported to take part in the standoff.
